Adam
Schatten -- a Boston-based documentary filmmaker aspiring
to erase the havoc and after-taste left in the wake of reality
television. Since graduating from the film program at Emerson
College in 1996, he has used the skills gained from freelance
production work to document social causes. Committed to making
unique AIDS media, he will release a powerful series about
contemporary heroism and the ongoing legacy of activism inside
the AIDS movement.
In
2001, a grant from the Tony Cox Fund helped Schatten produce
and air a ninety-minute, AIDS Awareness gospel concert on
Boston Neighborhood Network Television. FlyPaper Films
recent creative alliance with HOME Inc., a non-profit organization
at the Bates Art Resource Center, will enable its growing
archive of AIDS media to thrive in educational settings. Contact
